Employment Process
For Local Domestic Helpers
(Completed Contract in Hong Kong)
- Employer submits domestic helper requirements.
- Selection and interview arrangement (approximately 1–2 weeks).
- Confirmation of employment by both parties.
- Employer submits required documents and both parties sign the employment contract (approximately 1–2 weeks).
- Contract authentication by the Consulate (approximately 1–2 weeks).
- Awaiting visa approval from the Immigration Department (approximately 4–6 weeks).
- *Final processing time is subject to the approval schedule of the Immigration Department and the Consulate.
- Visa collection and arrangement for the domestic helper to start work at the employer’s home.
